No trip to Memphis Tennessee would be complete without a visit to Graceland, Elvis Presleys estate. Yup, it's a little spendy and a little touristy, but it was still a very enjoyable experience. I wasn't a big Elvis fan, he was a little before my time, but you can't deny the impact he had on music and the talent he had as a singer/performer.
The Graceland experience is more than just a tour of the home place. There are numerous exhibition halls displaying auto collections, motorcycle collections, exhibits about his time in the Army, Career museum, Archives, Hollywood Backlot exhibit, Sound Stage for live concerts, to name just a few. Add in 4 different dining options and numerous gift shops and you have a full tourist experience.
We spent 4 hours exploring the grounds and really enjoyed ourselves.
