After our brief wonderful stay in Utah, we have ventured back to Colorado. We are in the SW corner of the state in an area known as 4-Corners. Not too far from here the states of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado an intersect. Cortez CO is the closest bigger town (10 miles) and Durango is the closest city (40 miles).
We are staying at Morefield campground that is located in the Mesa Verde National Park. Mesa Verde is home to a number of amazing cliff dwellings. We have a tour schedule for one of the cliff dwellings and also plan to take in the "Million Dollar Highway" during our stay.
We are here only 4 nights before we move into New Mexico and then start our journey home.
