Our friend Jean came to stay with us for a couple of days. We meet Jean back in 2019 in Maine and have been good friends ever since. We seem to find a way to connect every year during our travels.
The weather was not ideal and she had to deal with a couple of storms and rain in the tent but we all survived and had a great time nonetheless. Our phones were alarming constantly during the last evening with warnings or tornados and softball size hail. Fortunately, the front split as it approached us and went to the north and south of us.
We ventured out a couple times with the CanAm and did a little exploring and was blessed with the amazing beauty of the Black Hills. This area never ceases to amaze me.
Of course, we were entertained by Buddy, Jeans dog, the whole time. What a sweetheart, he's definitely weaseled his way into Patricia's heart.
