Our travel friend, Jean, and daughter, Jackie, joined us for a UTV ride from Deerfield Lake to Rochford.
The temps were a little cool, especially when you were out in the open, but it was tolerable.
The route took us to Flag Mountain overlook, thru the Reynolds Prairie, and up to Rochford. After enjoying a little lunch at the Moonshine Saloon, a stop at the Small of America Store, and an excursion out to Castle Peak Campground, we headed back to Deerfield.
The ride had a nice mix of trails and forest roads. The trail out to Castle Peak Campground was the only section that was quite rough and not the most pleasant to ride.
It was great to spend the day with our visitors!
