We moved from Big Pine campground out to National Forest Land that is just on the border of Jewel Cave National Monument. We are on Forest Road 277, 1/2 mile from Hwy 16. Rolling hills as far as you can see. This area was severely impacted by a forest fire a few years ago so we are in a mostly open area with lots of new growth.
It's been a busy week since we arrived in the Hills. Today I brought the Side by Side in for its first service, and we spent the day working on a special project while we waiting for the service to complete. Actually, we have spent much of our time here working on this special project. More will be revealed in the near future!
